A Change of Pace

Ok, so it's been a very long while since I've blogged and that's mainly thanks to my studio taking up much of my time. I figured I'd share with you all what I've been working on. This is my current studio project, a skyscraper. It's a club and a park along the NYC Highline in the Meat Packing District. This is what was presented at the mid-review. Take a look and let me know what you all think. New Haven and Patriots this weekend, so there'll be some new photos up...so long as studio doesn't eat up more time! Enjoy!

Steel Yard

Well after a few weddings, I had a field trip to a steel yard for one of my architecture classes. It was fun...except for the fact it was an early morning field trip. The tour was good, and very interesting to see how steel got put together. The machines they had were even cooler. Definitely not a place to be playing around in....or maybe it was. I could have probably spent another couple of hours photographing the place. It had so many nooks and old tools. A lot of fun stuff...there's another trip later on this month, so keep your eyes open. Enjoy!

I added in some random photos too.

It's funny to see man made objects taken over by nature.

Always funny to see "Made in USA" on stuff now-a-days.
