Family Portraits in Roger Williams Park

It's been awhile since I've done some portraits, and I was nervous about getting back into the swing of them. However, Sharon, Inad, and their baby boy Troy, made it super easy. It was fun exploring Roger Williams Park with them and capturing the family moments. Steph tagged along as well, and she provided the distractions behind me so that all three of them would be smiling and laughing, while I took the photos. Troy was such a trooper too. Our outing lasted for over an hour and not one melt down! I was totally impressed. Here's the good looking family!

Trip to Maine

Fall in Maine is beautiful! The foliage is so colorful. We took Lou up and visited my parents new farm house. The house was built in the late 1790's so there's so much to explore. I couldn't keep track of how many rooms there were, and hallways leading to more rooms, and barns...it is great! It's going to be lots of fun to spend time up there. I especially enjoyed looking at all the different architectural elements that I found throughout the house. We spent the majority of the time loading up wood for the winter, so I'm sure there'll be more photos of the house in the future.

Head of the Charles 2013

Once again, Steph and I headed up to the Head of the Charles a couple of weeks ago. We met up with our friend Matt, and wandered around. We got some clam chowder, walked along the river, got some rosemary french fries, walked some more, and then ended up at the Harpoon Brewery. I was certainly exhausted when we finally got home. And I finally made it to the Carpenter Center at Harvard, the only Corbusier building in the US (an architectural nerd fun fact). Enjoy the photos.
