Head of the Charles 2013

Once again, Steph and I headed up to the Head of the Charles a couple of weeks ago. We met up with our friend Matt, and wandered around. We got some clam chowder, walked along the river, got some rosemary french fries, walked some more, and then ended up at the Harpoon Brewery. I was certainly exhausted when we finally got home. And I finally made it to the Carpenter Center at Harvard, the only Corbusier building in the US (an architectural nerd fun fact). Enjoy the photos.

Wow! You certainly have knack for architectural photography. Duh, I know.

All of them are great but for me the few that are amazing are

02 -love the silhouetting, composition

04- fun criss-crossing of lines of line, very much tells a story

05 and 06- I love the percentage of sky. The layout of trees and rooftops are very good, pleasing to the eye. I've seen this alot with photographers right now.. and you've captured it to a T!

10- So much fun! Just a great collection of lines! Alot of movement because they're not parallel to the viewing plane.

13- Very nice composition of life. Again just the movement of the composition just tell a story that you can't get with some of your more intimate architectural shots.

09- is just WOW! So ethereal. Beautiful.

19- Great capture of color and space.

You are very good at capturing the composition so that it is full of movement, direction, and magnitude.
