A few weeks ago, my mom in law asked me to take some photos for her, and I was happy to do so. I got to explore Colt State Park on a typical hot June day. Hopping from place to place in the air conditioning of my car, I wandered around the park. It was great to see an old stone carriage house, the docks, and to also enjoy the quiet of the park. Hope you all enjoy!
Well if you're not from RI, you probably didn't hear about the mill fire in Woonsocket this past week. Steph and I had gone out for a walk the night the fire started and saw big black clouds of smoke, and 3 or 4 fire trucks rush past us. When we found out what was going on, we really wanted to go check it out, but didn't want to get in the way (especially since we heard the police were having a hard time keeping people away). So instead we went the next night, and couldn't have had any better timing. The sun was setting over the remaining brick walls and below are the resulting photos (and a few of the neighboring mill). So enjoy!

I'm always up for a challenge, so if you want to propose one for me, by all means send me an e-mail. Thanks!
