Trip to NYC

So if you haven't figured it out yet, Steph and I headed down to NYC for a few days during Spring Break. We explored Soho, Chelsea, and Midtown...and did quite a bit of walking too. We visited the Highline park, where I had worked on my studio project from last semester, had mojitos, went into a few galleries, went to MoMA, and of course shopped. Our hotel was right next to the Queensboro Bridge, so I was also able to grab quote a few shots of that too. Anyways, enjoy this post, the graffiti one, and the black and whites!

NYC in Black and White

Ok so here is where I played quite a bit with Lightroom. I got some really cool looking black and whites, and also a few antique/vintage looking shots too. I've finally been able to get a chance to play around with the program and see what it can do, and I had no idea! So here's the second round of NYC photos. Stay tuned for one more NYC post!

NYC Graffiti

So here's the first batch from our recent trip to NYC. We wandered through Chelsea and Soho and came across quite a bit of graffiti, which I think is really awesome. I've always liked the work of the unknown artists. It's always intrigued me how these guys can do some elaborate art work, and not get caught, because it looks like it takes some amount of time....at least for some of these.

Next up is a vintage/black and white look at NYC...with the help of Lightroom. And then there'll be another post with a whole bunch of color...even though it was pretty cloudy on the days we went. Enjoy!
