Miami Beach Vacation
Well I'm back... Steph and I took a vacation down to Miami Beach and I was finally able to find some time to get behind the camera again. Aside from lounging pool side, laying by the beach, and relaxing, Steph and I took in the local Art Deco architecture. It's very different from my favorite Chrysler Building in NYC and the Industrial Trust Building in Providence. We ended up going on a walking tour of some of the architecture. Steph learned lots of fun facts, but I felt like I was back in one of my history of architecture classes... So out of the numerous photos, 450+ to be exact, I narrowed it down to the 40 pictures below. It's pretty much architectural shots. Our hotel was across from the Delano, one of my favorites, and then there was the Victor as well. The fonts for each hotel are really interesting. Hope you enjoy all the photos!

Snowmobiling over President's Day Weekend
After a winter of no snow in 2012, dad and I finally got out to go snowmobiling over the long weekend. The trails were a little rough in areas, but still good enough to go out for a few hours at a time. It's always fun to go out because even on the same trails, there's always something new to look at and photograph.Along the trails, we came across some old abandoned cars, which are one of my favorite things to photograph. The first car we came by was an old Chevy that I found awhile back and was surprised that it was still there. I remembered the shots I got before, and tried to take some new ones. We also came across an old bus that was deeper in the woods. I'm amazed that it got out there some how. Anyways, enjoy the photos. And keep an eye out, there's always more to come!

Blizzard of 2013 and Snow Troopers
The blizzard of 2013 has come and gone, and left an awful lot of snow. 24 inches, which was 6 inches over Louie's head. The Sunday after the storm, the Snow Troopers decided to come out and play. I played with Legos and while I was doing that, I made a trail for Louie to walk. The snow speeder also came out. I decided to play around and do a low budget version of the Battle of Hoth. Yes, I'm that much of a nerd...
Hope you enjoy the photos, and everyone was safe in the snow!

Happy New Year...Sorry it's been awhile
Wow it's been quite awhile since I've done any photography... But finally school is done with. I have my weekends back. And all my school projects are done and finished. And as soon as school finished up, my new job started. So now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and posting new photos. With all that, Louie had his first Christmas and his first snow. I had to snow blow a trail in the woods just so the poor little guy could walk through because it was up to his shoulders. When he jumped in he didn't quite know what to do. Before the snow, we visited Gram (who's house is the one with the red lights). Steph captured the last two shots of Lou and I in the snow. Happy New Year to you all, and here's to more photo posts!
