Celebrating the Fourth in Maine

Ok, so I'm not as far behind as with the post as the previous one. Once again, I found myself up in Maine for the 4th of July. Best part this summer, fireworks are now legal in Maine. I was able to pick some up and then set up the camera for some long time exposure shots. And of course, I snapped the occasional shot of Lou as well. He loves spending time with my dad. If Lou isn't with me or Steph, you'll be able to find him on my dad's lap. Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th!

Fourth of July in Maine

Wooo...This one's a big post. Steph and I were up in Maine for the Fourth, and we were finally able to enjoy some gorgeous weather. On the lake there are a couple of loons that have had babies, so thankfully to a new lens extender, I could get close enough to get a great shot. And the night of the Fourth, the family gave a show of sparklers since there weren't a lot of fireworks going off around the lake. Bandit and Tobey were almost always in the water too. And Bandit even started to jump off the dock (those photos will come later). All in all it was a great weekend, and I hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth as well!
