Hot Air Balloon Festival
These photos have been in the queue for a very long time. Back in August, Steph and I went down to URI for the hot air balloon festival. I thought the balloons would be taking off and landing, but because of the weather, they only did a night time lighting. There were also some fireworks, which are always fun to photograph too. I'd add more, but I honestly can't remember much since it was 4 months ago. Any how... enjoy the pictures!

Celebrating the Fourth in Maine
Ok, so I'm not as far behind as with the post as the previous one. Once again, I found myself up in Maine for the 4th of July. Best part this summer, fireworks are now legal in Maine. I was able to pick some up and then set up the camera for some long time exposure shots. And of course, I snapped the occasional shot of Lou as well. He loves spending time with my dad. If Lou isn't with me or Steph, you'll be able to find him on my dad's lap. Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th!

Portraits of Lincoln the Scottie
Well this has been a long time coming. I took these photos back in the beginning of June, and I'm now just catching up with posting them. This was my first StyleWeek shoot. And of course the model was super easy, and he was so photogenic. And this model was a four legged one. His name is Lincoln. He's walked the runway a few times, as well as shown up in Rhode Island Monthly, among other publications. Here's a handful of portraits that I took of Lincoln, so enjoy!

And of course I couldn't forget Lou...He gets jealous...

Miami Beach Vacation
Well I'm back... Steph and I took a vacation down to Miami Beach and I was finally able to find some time to get behind the camera again. Aside from lounging pool side, laying by the beach, and relaxing, Steph and I took in the local Art Deco architecture. It's very different from my favorite Chrysler Building in NYC and the Industrial Trust Building in Providence. We ended up going on a walking tour of some of the architecture. Steph learned lots of fun facts, but I felt like I was back in one of my history of architecture classes... So out of the numerous photos, 450+ to be exact, I narrowed it down to the 40 pictures below. It's pretty much architectural shots. Our hotel was across from the Delano, one of my favorites, and then there was the Victor as well. The fonts for each hotel are really interesting. Hope you enjoy all the photos!
