Summer Newport Trip

Once again, Steph and I found ourselves at Newport. This time we were actually down there to go see Joel McHale of The Soup (he was hysterical!) and we wondered around Fort Adams and Brenton Point instead of the Mansions. Since this was the second gorgeous weekend of the summer, it was quite packed full of people (all of who were very white, there was an enormous glare...just kidding). Also down in Newport were the kites, which colored the sky beautifully. Anyways, enjoy the pics!

I love architecture that begins to fall apart. You get to see the guts, and the real character of the building

Wind surfing...I'm guessing he was tired afterwards

View of Pell Bridge

Lots of iron gates...probably to keep out the Brits eh?

The water was still a little cold...

The sky filled with kites....it was really quite amazing that no one got tangled up
